I'm working on trying to get my questionnaire on my site.... I'm not exactly a computer wiz!!!
1. What is your reason for getting a German Shepherd OR Shih Tzu?
2. Are you looking for a family companion, show, obedience, working or guard dog?
3. Is there a preference to sex, color, type of coat?
4. Do you plan to breed the dog? Show in conformation, Obedience, Schutzhund? Other?
5. Do you own your own home? Residential? Country?
6. Is your property fenced? Physical fence? Underground? Will the dog be primarily indoors/outdoors?
7. Do you have children? Ages?
8. What type of activities does your family participate in? Will the dog be welcome to join in those activitites?
9. How many hours a day will the dog be left alone? Occupation? Work schedule?
10. Do you have any other pets? What kind?
11. Have you researched any obedience trainers in your area? How much training experience do you have training dogs?
12. Do you have a plan in place if something happens to the family? What happens to the dog?
13. Can you provide references if asked? 2 people name, phone, relationship.
14. Are you and your family ready to dedicate your time to raising a puppy? Socialization, training, playtime etc....
15. Are you financially prepared for the cost of a dog? Food, supplies, veterinary care, training classes, toys...
16. Will you agree to give the dog back if you can no longer take care if him/her?
17. Any other comments or questions?
